Personal Information Collection
Personally identifiable information (“personal information”) such as name, address,
telephone number, email address, etc. is collected online from voluntary submissions
by users of the Sites. At any time you may visit our Sites without identifying yourself
or revealing any personal information. For visitors who do not sign on to or register
with our Sites, our server does not collect personal information. We do not have
access to personal information related to visitors of our Sites unless they have
an account with our Sites. Please note that not all of the Sites offer a registered
account.
There may be times we will need personal information from you. For example, when
you order for the first time from one of our Sites, we will ask you to create a
registration profile for your account with personal information such as your name,
phone number and email address. Customers new to GBC will also be asked for billing
and shipping addresses, credit card information and certain other information. This
information is used to fulfill your request for products and services, to contact
you about specials and new products, and to provide a more efficient and personalized
experience on our Sites. In addition, we will request personal information when
you register for a warranty on one of our Sites.
Aggregate Information Collection
GBC collects aggregate information on its Sites for internal research purposes and
to better understand and serve our customers. Aggregate information is non-personally
identifiable/anonymous information about visitors, including but not limited to
age, gender, frequency of visits to the Sites, Site pages most frequently accessed,
search terms entered, URL address visited just before and after coming to our Site,
browser type, IP address, etc. This aggregate information is reviewed and analyzed
on a collective basis and will not be linked to the identity of any individual person.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data sent from a website to your browser and stored on your
hard drive for future reference. We use cookies to store information previously
provided by you to one of our Sites so that you do not need to re-enter this information
each time you shop with us. In addition, we place cookies on visitors' hard drives
to collect aggregate generic information about the number of visitors to our Sites

website that collects personal or aggregate information. GBC does not control the

nor should it be implied that GBC endorses or otherwise recommends such websites

When we request sensitive information from you at checkout such as credit card number,
that information is SSL encrypted by Verisign's 40-bit secure server software so
that it is protected from interception and hacking as it travels over the Internet.
If you request that GBC store your credit card number for use in future transactions,
credit card information will be stored in GBC's database. In subsequent uses, only
the last four digits of your card number will be displayed on screen for your verification.
Please note that, unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet, or method
of electronic storage, can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we
strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE, SHALL GBC OR ITS
AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT ARISE OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY
TO USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE INFORMATION, SERVICES, PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS AVAILABLE
FROM THE SITES, EVEN IF GBC OR AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF GBC HAS BEEN ADVISED
OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Information Removal/Opt Out/Amendments
Users of our Sites may occasionally receive a newsletter or information on GBC's
products, services and special promotions or GBC’s parent, subsidiaries, or affiliates
products, services and special promotions. Out of respect for your privacy we offer
the option to not receive these types of marketing communications at the point of
registering on our Sites. If you wish to opt-out of receiving these promotions at
a later date, you may contact Customer Service by phone at (800) 541-0094 or by
email at contactus@gbc.com. In addition, if you are a registered user, you can deselect
the option of receiving marketing communications in the "My Profile" section
once logged in to our Site.
If you do not wish to have personal information collected at our Sites shared with
third-party organizations (unrelated to GBC) for their marketing or promotional
purposes, you can have your name placed on a "do-not-share" list (in which
case, such personal information will not be shared with third parties unrelated
to GBC) by clicking on: OPT OUT
If your personal information changes, you have the ability to verify or change certain
information yourself through the "My Profile" section once logged in to
our Site. For your added security, however, certain information may only be changed
by a call to Customer Service at (800) 723-4000. If you no longer desire our services,
you may call Customer Service at (800) 723-4000 and have your personal registration
profile information removed from our database. Customers in Canada can contact Customer
Service at 1-800-463-2545.
At your request, you will be given access to all of your personal information GBC
has collected on our Sites and you will be given an opportunity to amend any inaccuracies
contained in the personal information. In order to request access and/or an opportunity

Business Transfers
In the event that GBC sells substantially all of its assets, or one of GBC's business
units are acquired, customer personal and aggregate information will likely be one
of the transferred assets.

GBC is sensitive to parents’ concerns about the collection of personal information

consent, we will remove his or her personal information from our files.
